TadoX Hot Water Matter Stream
Previous generations allowed hot water control via Alexa. No option to configure a matter stream for the hot water in Y/S plan configurations. Seems like a missing feature to me and isn't mentioned as a down side to upgrading to Tado X. Would love to have this feature added so that I can have the same functionality as I…

Control Hot Water through Matter
Simple, the matter integration could have the hot water end point.

Provide method to specify type of heating system, i.e. radiators, underfloor, etc.
There is no facility to specify what type of heating system is installed. It appears Tado treats all systems as if the heating system is based on radiators. In case of a underfloor only system it is likely the floor is cold when the first call for heat after a break is generated. Currently the system would start to run for…

Please can you configure the Tado wired unit to work with the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 and EMS

Valve pin position indicator
My Bosch system which I got rid of in favor of Tado included in the app a place where you could see the position of the valve pin. This was useful to determine if TRV was fully opening or closing the valve pin and other temperature issues. I think this would be useful on the Tado system as well

Working Support
Here is a really novel idea. A support service that actually supports its customers! Having run into an issue, finding out that all support is now via the chat bot. Only to find that no support engineer has even looked at the request in nearly 48 hours. Disgraceful!

Display Humidity level on wired and wireless sensor display
It would be important to allow the display of humidity levels on the wired and wireless sensors (square devices) when pressing the round button. This feature could be configured in the app. The humidity level would be displayed just after the temperature. You can also extend this display to smart radiator valves.

[Released with tado° X] Integration for Samsung SmartThings
It would be great if we Tado users could connect Tado to Samsung SmartThings

New Product - Tado Hot Water Cylinder Thermostat or Sensor needed
Tado already make a good range of Thermostats and Sensors to control the hot water flow to domestic radiators. However, in (the fair few) countries that rightly or wrongly use a hot water cylinder to store pre-heated water for use with domestic taps, Tado has no product available to support this. This means there is a…

Recycle unused adapters
Hello. I haven’t needed any of the supplied radiator valve adapters, so I have 7 unopened packets. Be a shame for these to go to landfill. Many others must not use theirs. Can Tado offer a way to return so they can be reused?

Anthracite RAD Thermostats.
Got two lovely anthracite rads in my house but don't want to add white rad thermostats on them. Good idea? Some other colour options would be good.

Send notifications when firmware downloads taking place
Recently at 04:00 all my tado devices disconnected from the internet and all smart radiator valves turned to off. During the day various devices reconnected then disconnected again. On investigation I found the Smart valves were being updated with new firmware. On continuing tado I was told that firmware updates can…

iOS 16.3 HomePod Temperature Sensor
With iOS 16.3 HomePods can now relay temperature and humidity data to HomeKit. I’ve had trouble with the room heat being cold on one side, and the tado valve is near radiator… I’m using the HomePod for offsetting the room temperature, could this be automatic ?

Lower hysteresis for underfloor heating
We have Tado controlling our underfloor heating but it has two issues: it's not learning and the hysteresis is too big. If I set the room to 20C then the underfloor heating doesn't come on until the temperature has dropped to 19C. It then runs the boiler until the room hits 20C but the residual heat in the floor keeps the…

Manual adjust graph axis
I would like to be able to adjust the axis of the temperature graphs in the Tado app. Currently this goes automatically hence graph axes jump every day and is different for each room. That makes it difficult to compare different days or rooms and makes it difficult to observe how quickly a room heats up or cools down. I…

Tado app for Apple Watch or other watch
It’ll be cool, we had an app for the watch for using on Apple Watch or other Stead of using the HomeKit it will be better than he had an app for the watch is the same way as the iPhone and iPad Don’t want to use HomeKit Can you make one please?

Either access smart meter data, or contact loop to share their access. Use this data to attribute costs to room schedules.

Wifi geofencing
It would be good if there was WiFi only geofencing. There is not point to keep GPS up whole day and drain battery. I know it would limit app to on and off rather than vicinity check but there is few benefits for me from GPS geofencing as home members keep turning GPS off to save battery life thus geofencing do not work as…

Selective boost
The boost all rooms is a nice option on occasions but what I’d really like to see is individual room boosts so if I’m working in one particular area I can boost the heating for a set period, say 15 mins without wasting energy heating the whole house.

TRV with empty batteries closes valve, but keeps requesting heat
The batteries of my TRV were empty and I received this email from Tado: > When your Smart Radiator Thermostat does not have enough charge to function, it will automatically close the radiator’s valve and the heating will remain off until you replace the batteries. Sure enough the valve was closed and an empty battery icon…

Enable Tado to use other temperature sensors via HomeKit
It would be very helpful if Tado could utilise existing temperature sensors that are also connected via HomeKit. I have several existing temperature sensors in my house(e.g. Netatmo) and don't want to have to buy additional Tado ones simply to get meaningful room values to control my heating. The smart radiator valves are…

Controlling heat pump for heating and cooling
By now more and more owners adopt air-water heat pumps to heat and cool their houses by water plumbing under the pavement, so saving energy respect to other solution. What is of paramount importance given the present surge of energy prices. Yet so far Tado has no solution for this configuration, notwithstanding it would…

Advanced smart scheduling
Many people work shift patterns that require a different heating schedule each week. Would it be possible to have advanced scheduling to cover multiple weeks? Ie the ability to set a heat schedule for one week, and then have it repeat every x amount of days/weeks? In exactly the same kind of way you set up repeat…

Store a basic schedule locally in case of crash / lost connection
My Tado system crashed when I went on holiday when the boiler was on. It stayed on max heating until I got home. Quick sums showed it had burned abut £50 in gas (which Tado refunded in the end) but surely it makes sense to store a limited schedule locally, at the boiler controller. What's potentially worse is if the system…

Smart AC Control to turn off AC unit when desired temperature is reached
Could it be possible to add a feature to the Smart AC Control that would allow for AC unit to turn off automatically when the desired temperature is reached, and then, when the Smart AC control detects that the temperature has raised 0.5-1 degrees over, to turn on the AC unit again? At the present moment, using the Smart…
