It should be possbile to select the wanted fan speed at Homekit, IFTTT and other services.
I just bought a new Tado Smart AC Control V3+ to control my Mitsubishi Electric FH35 heat pump, based on the measrument from external Netatmo- temperature sensor. First I integrated Tado to Apple Homekit, but when I created on automation (such as "if temperature is below 22c, set Tado for Heat mode"), I noticed that I…

Manual mode for smart radiator thermostat
I would sometimes prefer to keep my radiator always pleasant warm instead of turning it off and on every time temperature on sensor rises and falls. I suggest to introduce manual mode where user manages the valve position like on a regular thermostatic head. Let's say on the usual scale 1 to 5 instead of setting the target…

Allow "Auto" within HomeKit
Many smart heating systems when exposed to HomeKit allow the use of "OFF, HEAT and AUTO", even Drayton Wiser which can only be exposed through a custom made plug-in via homebridge can use AUTO. The AUTO function (at least as I see it) would allow the system to return back to the current schedule. For example, in HomeKit I…

Lock/Limit Selection of Temperature on Thermostat via App
I currently have a Tado installed in an air BnB and recently I had a guest which turned the temperature upto maximum for a couple of days. It would be a good feature to be able to allow us to limit what temperature the Tado could be set to within the App. For example, limiting it to 22C or even locking it completely.

Show humidity as sensor in homekit
It’d be really useful to have the humidity from my tado devices show up as a sensor in homekit. This would allow me to add automations with other devices (eg when humidity goes above a certain level, turn on the dehumidifier)

Mac M1 App
Bring the iOS Tado app to the Mac AppStore to use the features in which HomeKit doesn't support (Ie. Override Timer, energy reports, timer settings). When we had access to run these apps pre MacOS 14.2 or 14.3 tado was one of the best apps to use via MacOS for M1 devices which saved me from hunting down my iOS device. It…

Reading out Smart Energy Meter
Dear TADO development, Im am trying to make my Eneco TOON redundant and have it replaced by TADO, however what I would miss the most would be the Smart Energy Meter readings (day, week, month, Year) both Power and Gas consumption. This is not a nice to have function if you claim to reduce energy consumption. The saving…

standard temperature: lower
The standard temperature of TADO is 21 degree C.. If that is true, isn't it a better idea to lower this standard temperature on behalf of the climatecrisis and, recently, saving costs? For example lower it to 19 or even lower temperature. If someone wants to heat more, be free with TADO to do that.

Sleep mode on tado thermostats
Sleep mode to toggle to a different temperature setting like away mode. I go to sleep at different times.

fahrenheit/celsius toggle
Hello! We use Tado at home & are quite happy with it. It is not linked to Alexa or Apple Home or any of those fancy things. We just use the Tado app. It would be great if there was a toggle in the settings where we could change the temperature from celsius to fahrenheit or vice versa. I checked the forums & there wasn't…

Adjust temperature or Boost Heating feature
Boost Heating is useful but the default 25C value is, in my opinion, too high. I would like to be able to change this, eg. To 22C.

Large House Capability
I have a new Tado system fitted to an old oil boiler and I am mostly loving it. The issue I have is thick walls and scalability. I have maxed out devices so had to change back to regular TRVs in some rooms and I have maxed out on zone controllers. The bridge can never see all TRVs or Wireless Temperature Sensors (WTS) at…

Simple improvement to use Tado both for heating and cooling
More and more users are moving to heath pumps both for heating and cooling, by having the same pump satisfy both needs by pumping fluid under the pavement. Unfortunately, so far, Tado only has a minimum temperature in his controller, so it is only possible to employ it for heating. A simple improvement would entail adding…

One-click hot water control with 'turn off water' and 'resume schedule' button
I use the mobile app to control my central heating and hot water system. I don't use geofencing as my wife often leaves her phone at home. I do however frequently use the option to 'Turn OFF all rooms' and then 'Resume schedule' later. I would really love a similar option to 'Turn OFF hot water' and then resume the hot…

Ability to cool using my smart thermostat?
Hello, I wish the smart thermostat had the ability to cool as well. My geothermal heat pump heats as well as cools. Right now I can only use Tado for heating. It would be great if I could change the mode of the Tado Smart Thermostat to 'cool' in summer and 'heat' in winter. If you need more information about my set up,…

Option to see humidity on home page room buttons
Hi, in our house we struggle with high humidity in the winter. I find the tado humidity sensors in the radiator valves to be very useful, but it would be even more useful if I could see at a glance the humidity in all the rooms. On the app homepage I can see at a glance all of the room temperatures in the 8 rooms I have…

TRV set all blocks temps

p/kWh
For the UK Market, the tariff is in p/kWh for Gas. for example my tariff is 10.33 p/kWh But on the tado app i can only imput £/pWkh so my energyIQ is not correctly showing my usage. Is this something can be implemented?

Support 8°C mode on Toshiba AC heatpump
Today I can either control the temp fro. 17°C and upwards or I must shut the AC off. If I shut the AC off then I risk that the water can frezze inside my cabin. Most AC support an 8 °C mode to ensure that this will not happen. I can't find a way to do this in the TADO app

Notify TRV may not be seated correctly
I failed to correctly refit a trv following some decorating. Since by default (pin up) means valve open, the radiator would get hot when tado was set to be off. Tado should be able to identify the increase in temp repeatedly/consistently coinciding with the central heating being active when trv is set to be off. This…

Away Mode by Mobile Device
So my wife and I work from home, yet on some days (random days) either of us may go into the office. We work in 2 separate rooms at home. connect app to your gas and electric provider
Wouldn't it be great if there was some way to connect your app with your electric and gas provider to get an accurate idea of not only consumption but cost. I realise that at this time you have to enter your gas usage manually but if the it was linked or even if you could add the gas price to the app this would be more…

Switch all off for 1,2,3 hours
Any chance of a function to switch off all heating for a set period and for it then to return automatically to schedule? Thinking of when, for example, we go to bed early and heating doesn’t need to be on. It’s possible to switch off, but need to wake up and remember to switch back on for the morning. Automatic resumption…

Heating graphs on webpage
It would be really useful if the webpage could show the heating graphs that can be viewed on the phone app. It could also be useful to be able to download the graph data in some form.
-
EnergyIQ compare to same month last year not previous month
The energyIQ graph compare the last month with the current month. This doesn’t make much sense because any changes are likely to be seasonal and weather dependent rather than as a result of any actions. It helps to reduce energy usage and costs if we are comparing year on year consumption

Add the heating level indicator 1,2,3 bars to the Home Screen in each room
For a quick overview of which rooms are currently heating it would be useful to see the three bars indicator for each room on the Home Screen.
