Gentle heating curve
Find it more pleasant when tado° heats my room slowly (as it does if the set-point is just 1° above the current temp on a smart TRV). Would be great to have a way to choose to have it heat up gently in this way (i.e. presumably with a lower flow rate) all the time.

Future request: please add AUTO mode to Tado smart AC
Hi, I would love to have also AUTO mode beside COOLING, DRY, HEATING and FAN in the tado app and also if possible in HomeKit too maybe we are more people willing that it will happen

TRVs for bathrooms
I know you have https://support.tado.com/en/articles/3403596-can-i-use-tado-in-my-bathroom but it would be nice to have some for smaller bathrooms (i.e. where the towel rail is <1m from the shower.

Increased Aircon Functionality
1) My Aircon has boost and eco on the remote. Could these be added to Tado app please? 2) Auto on my remote alows +/-6c around 24c. The Tado app does not allow temp setting in this way in Auto mode.

Smart AC Controller should be able to use a separate Temperature Sensor
I've been a happy user of Tado for two or three years. So when we added an A/C unit to our attic, I naturally purchased a Tado Smart AC Controller, assuming it would integrate with the existing radiators and Remote Temperature Sensors in the same room. I was quite surprised to discover this isn't possible. I might be able…

Motion sensor to detect if there is activity in the room and activate heating
Could you introduce a motion sensor that understands if there is someone in the room so that it starts heating the room only if there is activity in the room. We have some rooms that we rarely use, it could be very handy to have this functionality with sensors detecting the activity and heat the room when people are in it.

Smart home connections..
There are two things I would like access to from Hubitat and/or Alexa. Preferably Hubitat. 1.Home or Away settings, both to change and monitor 2.Device calling for heat from boiler.

Improvements to the Wireless Receiver / Programmer Cover
In the UK, many modern houses have the programmer / controller in an easily accessible place and it is not uncommon to find them on the kitchen wall about 20cm or so above a kitchen worktop. They are therefore potentially at risk of splash or dirt ingress. Many of these controllers / programmers have the cables coming in…

Heating Activity Chart
I have been looking at the heating activity chart and it is quite hard to see the usage difference due the scaling on the chart. The same size columns can be very different on low usage. It would be good if the chart could auto scale depending on my usage. It would be a lot easier to compare day in day, month on month. Do…

Wireless underfloor heating
Hi Tado Please develop a wireless underfloor heating device. So i dont havd to switch to Netamo or Danfoss

Adapter for Danfoss RA
If you want your Tado thermostat assembled well on a Danfoss RA valve, please do yourself a favor and buy at the same time an extra metal adapter (eg Heimeier type: 970224700 for appr €10,-). This is the best way to fixate the thermostat. Tado's plastic adapter is rubbish and the helpdesk is playing stupid instead of…

Temporary temperature schedule
Allow users to set up a temporary schedule that overrules the actual schedule. Why? Sometimes I hear the night before that I have to work at home the next day. I want a warm office the next morning, but to do that I have to change the actual schedule and have to change it back afterwards. This is not convenient, so such…

Room exit time (opposite of Early Start)
Just thought I'd throw this idea out there.. Just like the early start feature (which I know doesn't work well) that heats a room for a set time.. I would like to set an exit time to turn off the heating before I leave a room to save energy. I used to set my lounge temperature to 21oC until 12am which is exactly when I…

Why US English used instead of UK English?
Why is US English is currently more acceptable to use both in Europe and wide community than UK English? Surely English or the queen’s English should be more appropriate to use than non original and corrupted English that the US use. Imagine France or Spain having Canadian French or Peruvian Spanish used instead of the…

14 days schedule (or month)
Hi I would like a way to set up 14 days schedule (or a month schedule would also work) I can only find a way to set up a week schedule. The reason is that I have my kids every second weekend. So there is no reason to warm up their rooms in the weekends, where they are not at my house. Right now I have to do a lot of…

Max. temp for a room
Please provide an option to set the maximum temperature for a room. Sometimes rooms have radiators that are too large and the temp sensor may not work well due to the location of the smart knob.

Re Server failure issues
Hello I was asked to give a description of a concern I have, regarding your recent server outage and the lack of a fit for purpose local control option in the event of a server outage or loss of internet connection. I have ask my son Jon to write this, as he is a Chartered Engineer and more familiar with the technical…

Graphical display for wireless receiver
It would be really useful to have a graphical display for the wireless receiver (like you get for individual rooms) so that it's really nice and obvious when the boiler was being asked for heat (and by what device too if possible). This could also display connected status (like other devices) which may be useful for…

Clock on Smart AC display
Since Smart AC has external power supply, it would be awesome if it could display time with very faded light (or could light intensity adjusted).

Tado, please change schedule screen to vertical, like hive app:
I have change from hive to Tado for the beautiful hardware, but the hive app/schedules are an example to copy. All week visible and editable in one screen! If you click the black dot with three little white sign, you can copy and paste the visible schedule to all weekly days or a particular day of you choose. This with…

Slider sensitivity
Am I the only one having difficulties setting a precise temperature with the slider in a room screen? In particular when releasing my finger from the screen most of the time the temperature cursor will further move by half a degree! Bref, i'd enjoy a more precise slider ;-)

HomeKit automation: resume schedule
I am having trouble understanding why the feature to resume schedule can not be triggered by a HomeKit automation. Surely this should be a fundamental feature?

Open Window detected
I am on occasion advised by my TADO app that a window is open. In a house with 10 TADO thermostats with a ground and first floor it would be decidedly helpful if the icon connected with a particular thermostat in a particular room has a small message displayed on the icon so I can see in which room a window has been…

Automatically go back on schedule
This drives me insane that this isn't a feature with tado! My partner has a habit of messing with the heating and knocking it off schedule to turn it either up or down, which of course takes it off its custom schedules, now the problem is that we forget that it's been taken off its schedule then we realise the heating has…

'Boost' Function should work by zone
I have 3 floors to my house and 3 wireless receivers on my boiler. Every radiator has a Tado X TRV on it. Occasionally we like to boost the heating, but we are only ever normally on 1 floor. During the day, if I want to boost the heating downstairs, by pressing 'boost' every single radiator across 3 floors comes on, making…

Show warning on Schedule for a room ignoring the schedule because "Until ended by user" is in force.
It took me days to work out why my bathroom rad wasn't coming on in the mornings (and it's been blooming cold recently!). It turned out the room's manual control setting was "Until ended by user" and someone had twiddled the knob. I kept checking the room's schedule screen and a warning there would have saved me days of…

smaller wireless temperature sensor X with e-ink display
I just bought wireless smart thermostat X starter kit with few smart radiator thermostats X. It is connected since yesterday and works flawlessly so far. There is one thing, I changed my old immergas thermostat to tado wireless and it is so big and bulky on the wall, shows nothing if not touched, looks like little outdated…

Increase or decrease temperature by 2° everywhere (instead of Boost Beating)
Sometimes you just want it to be slightly warmer or slightly cooler in your entire home. Therefore a "Decrease by 2°" button would be useful to reduce the temperature in all rooms. And another one "Increase by 2°". Ideally coupled with a setting for how long this should apply. A bit like the current 30-minute ‘Boost…

Make a window sensor that turn the heating off (the open window detection doesn't work so well)
Make a little window sensor as an option that could be installed at a window and connected with one or more Tado thermostats, so that one or more thermostats totally close the heat, when the window is open. The present open window detection closes if it feels colder air, but it works very badly because it often turns heat…
