Better adapt to slowness of underfloorheating
I have a setup with underfloorheating downstairs, radiators on first and second floor. the smart thermostate steers the floorheating valve by it's relay and a heatpump wirelessly trough an expansion kit. folowing the opentherm protocol. set temp on ground floor is set to a fixed temp 24/7 the heatpump should optimally run…

Prompt for Zone Controller
When installing multiple thermostats and radiator valves, there should be a prompt to choose which themostat is the corresponding zone contoller for each radiator valve. After setting up a wired themostat to the main boiler and a wired thermostat for underfloor heating, my radiator valves were randomly/intermittently…

Calendar viewer
Hi all in my previous smart thermostat I was a calendar viewer that was very useful, basically is a calendar with a month viewer where for each days where the thermostat was on, appear a red dot under the day, this is very useful to have a fast view of the days where the thermostat operate, and by clicking on the…

Tado x Thermostat - Set the MAX temp
Hi, I need (so fast as possible) the ability to lock (via software) the thermostat X or to set the max temp so that people cannot set the temperature above the set threshold. Urgent!!

Zone controller by definition off
In the current softwareversion all installed thermostats get the same zone controller after installing a wall thermostat. This should not happen by default. Can't this be changed by making this a configuration part of the initial installation when a wall thermostat is added to the system, where the user gets the option to…

Tado urgently needs the certificate for intelligent "hydronic balancing" (Germany)!
In Germany, switching from fossil fuel heating systems to environmentally friendly heating systems is massively subsidized by the government. One criterion for receiving this subsidy (e.g. 55% of the investment sum!!) is the requirement that the heating system in a house is optimized by means of so-called “hydraulic…

Include a full calendar plan
I miss a feature to plan with my Tado radiator knops on a calendar day basis. For example planning a period of holidays (heating off/away), indicating days I work from home (heating in my working room on during working hours) The current weekly schedule by room is a good start but very limited when things do not follow a…

Tado Wifi enabled Hot Water Cylinder Temperature Thermostat Display & Controller
As far as I can understand, if you do not have a smart (oil or gas) boiler or a boiler that can separately control and heat only your hot water you are limited to the control and heating of your hot water cylinder by timer schedules only. However a timer schedule cannot detect if you already have enough supply or hot…

The Tado Professional App must be updated swiftly to inform both V3 and X compatibility
That app is well out of date. We are facing a lot of enquiries about boilers and thermostats which arent identified in the app. The app needs urgent attention to declare properly the configuration settings to be considered: with both the V series and the X series given that their behaviour is not identical their…

Suggestions left unanswered.
Hi, Many of us have been asking for it for a long time. I am the new user of TADO V3+ and I am actually satisfied with it. However, after reading many suggestions of other users, Tado does not take it seriously. A lot of comments on the appearance and functionality of the main screen. Windows 8 appearance is ok but why is…

Use a button instead of a slider
When enabling heating you need to fiddle with the slider to set the heating to a specific temperature but pretty much always I set the temperature to fixed value for a given room. It would be more convenient to just have a big button that would enable/disable heating and use the default target temperature (global… or even…

Ability to schedule "one time" events
Currently you can define a schedule but sometimes I have the need to just schedule a one off session. For example, Friday I will be home earlier than usual so I want to have the temperature be 20 degrees at 13:00 with the end-time being the "next" change. Its nice if this is possible because Tado will then pre-heat…

Airco integration in Tado X
Can you make it possible to integrate my airco’s in the Tado X environment. I own two Mitsubishi SRK60-ZSX-W airco’s and would like to control them together with the Smart Thermostat and Radiator thermostats into one system. Thanks.

Add new "fingertap on top"-functionality for X devices
It is possible to hold your finger on an X device in order to start configuring it, i.e. place your finger on the display, wait until the circle is completed, (re)configure as desired. Firstly, I would like the duration to be massively increased, e.g. 30 seconds, in order to make it more child safe, i.e. retain the…

Configurable "How many degrees to change"-setting for X devices
Especially for X, it is a pain for non-technical users to use the device manually, especially to turn it on and off. This has changed since V3, as X seems to require much more movement on the device I would therefore like to be able to configure a "How many degrees to change"-delta value for my household. It should be…

Multiple accounts in 1 Tado App
Being a fan of Tado, I introduced to both my kids and mother in law. My mother in law needs some assistance, and in case, I can have the control from my home. But needed an other divice, because it's not possible to have 2 accounts on the same app. Is it possible to add multiple accouts / living address to 1 app on 1…

Enable tado on wifi without internet
Today I had 6 hours without heating in the winter. My internet was not working for 6 hours. Tado expects the bridge to be connected to internet for smart scheduler to work and connect with wireless thermostats. Why not enable bridge using wifi home without internet? A heating system should never rely on internet. Relying…

Protect thermostatic valves from stucking closed during summer (off heating season)
Most thermostatic valves get stuck if they are left in a CLOSED position for an extended period of time. In order to prevent this we could either 1) leave all valves OPEN when heating is off - if the heater does not work, it makes no difference which position the valves are, and in OPEN position they do not stuck. Or 2)…

Making smart schedule more smart
Would be nice have one page in which they are group the history for heating activity of all rooms together, to have more clear when the boiler can be left off reducing one or more temperatures at a certain time. (Sorry for my English)

Enable eBUS support for Tado X Wireless receiver
The V3+ supports both eBUS and Opentherm however the newer product series X does not support eBUS. Please enable also eBUS support for the X series. I imagine since you have the code for V3+ in the firmware it could be refactored over for the X and with a firmware update it could work.

Energy IQ - Better process for when energy meter is replaced
I recently had to have our smart gas meter replaced, because the existing one became faulty. This meant that my meter reading dropped back to zero when the meter was replaced. When I came to enter a meter reading in Energy IQ, it said I could not enter a number lower than the previous reading. I contacted support, they…

Schedules and shared custody
I have my kids in shared custody and need to manage the schedule manually to lower heating in their room on the week they are not present. I really think that shared custody is more common these days and that Tado should consider managing that in a easier way in the app so this is dealt with more transparently. I…

Heating System Override switching it on for 1hr, 2hr 3hr or set a time
Strangely, the Tado system allows you switch on the hot water heating for a specified time outside the schedule. But it is not possible to do the same for the heating. Instead, you have go into each device, which is a ridiculously time consuming and fiddly process. Yet, it is standard functionality on most central heating…

Select how long boost hot water for Tado X
I've switched from the V3+ to Tado X due to connection issues with the bridge. With V3+ in the app I could select how long to boost my hot water for with the pencil, this was a vital feature for me. With tado X I can click boost but it is only set for 60 minutes and can't be edited. I see from tado's website this is a…

Hot water override
need an ability to 'boost' hot water for a short period of time. We have a system with a hot water tank. Sometimes we can run low on hot water and need an option to boost it for a short period - say 30/45mins. Currently the app allows you to override the schedule until the next event, inevitably it means you turn on the…

Exposure of additional information to Matter for Tado X Radiator Thermostat
Hello, I'd like to ask if the development roadmap for the Tado X Radiator Thermostats has the exposure of additional entities to Matter planned in the near future? I'd like to see the battery % and also the valve position (valve open %) directly within the connected home automation ecosystem through Matter, which is…
