Smart AC readings for Measuring Room Temp/Humidity
Scenario where you have a radiators and AC in room. The radiator have valve, but readings from valves are way off due simply location Reading of Smart AC is great, as you can position it on good place. When you open the Room properties you have the option to choose Measuring Unit, but the Smart AC is not there. Please…

Expose temperature sensors to Apple Homekit
As the title says, would be handy to have access to the temperature sensors in Homekit to create automations e.g. when temperature reaches X do Y

Data Logging Overlay
It would be great if I could overlay all the temp / humid readings I have on my system on a single display rather than having to keep switching between each device.

Tado, please change schedule screen to vertical, like hive app:
I have change from hive to Tado for the beautiful hardware, but the hive app/schedules are an example to copy. All week visible and editable in one screen! If you click the black dot with three little white sign, you can copy and paste the visible schedule to all weekly days or a particular day of you choose. This with…

Need a meter for hours heating was on
Living in a block of 8 flats, we all tap on central petrol heating. We get charged by the hours we have heating on. No information In the daily room graph (have only one thermostat) there is no indication of the time heating was actually on, from start of month / from start of day till present. Is something so obviously…

Oventrop 1011450 - Bulk Purchase
I am sure you are aware that the above elbow adapter is proving a success for the few using them. How about you arranging a bulk purchase from the German Firm in order that we may buy from you? For anyone who has not read the thread on this, the above link for Amazon shows the adapter which turns an upright tado TRV into…

Newest Huawei Phones without Google Play Services not working on Tado
I have previously had a Huawei phone which worked fine with our Tado system. Having now bought a new Huawei phone it does not. I am aware of the politics, but it does seem strange that Tado have decided not to produce an App that works with the worlds 3rd most popular mobile phone brand. I was told rather bluntly that your…

An ‘On’ function for the Smart Radiator Thermostats
As well as having the off function, and each individual temperature setting, it would be good to have an on function (like a standard TRV). This way it won’t instruct my boiler to turn on but just receive heat if it is already servicing another radiator.

Whole House Override from main thermostat
HI, I'm new here, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. We have an issue in our house which is that I love smart home tech but my fiancee hates it. We have a tado thermostat in the hallway with radiator ones in every room. Our house is quite drafty and cold and sometimes we just need to override the schedule…

Improve Care&Protect boiler fault detection
The problem i encounter is easy to explain. If for example my TADO is programmed to turn my boiler on (be it automatically or manually), and for whatever reason the boiler is either Off or the mains is down, TADO doesn’t inform that the boiler isn’t on. In this second report I have sent, the boiler was resetting itself due…

Thread
Thread is the future of smart home connectivity and will also help people struggling with Tado range issues. Thread should also help grow network size without overwhelming the system as it becomes more resilient.

TADO to distribute service engineers
Please consider travel service engineers who understand TADO to visit customers with TADO heating. Encouraging appointment home bookings to solve problems. Web Chat not always the best for communication.

Hot water monitoring & Tado hot water tank thermostat
Hi, I'd like to be able to monitor our hot water, so I can see when the hot water is requesting heat from the boiler and ideally see the temp of our cylinder tanked hot water. The app shows simply off and on. We have the Extension Kit controlling our heating and hot water. There is no way of telling when the hot water has…

Stronger TRV mounts
My Tado TRVs have only been installed 6 or 7 months but I’ve just found one of them has come off because the plastic lug that locks the mount to the body has cracked and is broken. It strikes me that the plastic part of the mount is a weak point in the design and appears to be the one bit that, if broken, prevents the…

Better overview of all schedules in one view
I’d find it really useful to have an overview of all the schedules of my smart valves so I can see when the heating generally kicks on and off to be able to review my system more efficiently. At the moment I have to check every valve individually just to see I’m when everything turns off and on in order to refine my setup

Changing the maximum flow temperature myself
Initial problem: Hello, i have a Ferroli Bluehelix PRO 32C heating central. I use tado for 3 years now. After last update of Tado APP to version 6.0.2 (9826) i found following bug. I limit maximum temperature of heating using heating buttons on my boiler to 55C. After this update, maximum flow temperature is reseting…

TADO INFORMATION UPDATES
For those interested in Tado I believe that it would be good to be able to subscribe to ad-hoc email updates on things Tado related that Tado are open to share with their customers - whether that be firmware updates, hardware updates, press releases or collaborations with other companies etc. If there is such an option or…

VA03 Smart Radiator Thermostats support a charging port?
Will the next version of smart radiator thermostats include charging ports? Will make life a lot easier. I'm stuck with VA01's. Unless there is an introductory offer that I can't refuse I doubt if I'll change them. If I did I'd die happier if they had charging ports 😕⚰️😌

Release a smaller, cheaper Wireless Temperature Sensor for the Smart Radiator Thermostats
The recently released "Tado Wireless Temperature Sensor" is essential, in many scenarios, to have accurate operation of the Tado Smart Radiator Thermostats. Which, due to their proximity to the radiator, are not typically able to measure the actual room temperature themselves. However, many find the price (£69.99 / 79,99€)…

Show heater temperature information when heating (+ control parameters)
Currently, using OpenTherm, Tado can ramp up the heater temperature very quickly. Sometimes even reaching 80 degrees. It would be great if a tile in the app can show the temperature of the water in the heating system. It is indicated on the heater itself and also on my previous thermostat. Offering this in a graph showing…

Improve heating algorithm to wind down heating power earlier, to prevent temperature overshooting
In using tado radiator valves and thermostat, I notice they almost always overshoot their intended temperature. That's usually because the heating power will remain at full strength almost until the temperature is reached. It would be better if the algorithm supports earlier wind down of the heating delivered so the…

Allow users to set heating parameters to reduce pipe noises, energy drain, improve normal heaters
During my use of tado equipment I noticed the early start algorithm can start very early, heat the heater to 80 degrees, and occasionally really ask for a lot of power from the heater very quickly. Especially in older homes/older installations, this can cause issues: You wake up early when the heater wakes up, even at…

”Slow start” feature for less thermal stress
Opening the radiator valve fully with a cold system might cause unnecessary thermal stress on the system (and noise due to thermal expansion). Ramping up the valve for a short time might reduce the stress. I suggest a feature in line with “early start” called “slow start” to automatically ramp up the opening of the valve…

Maximum opening percent and time on radiator thermostate

Improve Internet Bridge so it reconnects automatically
The Internet bridge often disconnects from the Internet leaving the Tado system unusable. Please improve its firmware so it reconnects automatically as every other IoT I have does. Currently, the only option is to power cycle which is unacceptable when it happens at 4am, and we wake up to a cold house....

Expose humidity and temperature sensors to HomeKit
It would be very useful to have the humidity and temperature sensors exposed into the HomeKit environment, in order to allow the creation of automations in the Apple Home app. This could be extremely useful for instance with the Smart A/C controllers: for example, to create an automation to automatically power on the A/C…

Option to enter two offset values on TRVs
One offset for when radiator is off, and one when radiator is on. This would hopefully be a simple fix for the issue where the temperature around the radiator is warmer than rest of the room when the radiator is on. (Seen especially in vertically mounted TRVs.)
