Send notifications when firmware downloads taking place
Recently at 04:00 all my tado devices disconnected from the internet and all smart radiator valves turned to off. During the day various devices reconnected then disconnected again. On investigation I found the Smart valves were being updated with new firmware. On continuing tado I was told that firmware updates can…

“Saved Schedules” Idea
Hello, I have seen some posts about shift workers. To echo these. The way of editing schedules is very fiddly and time consuming, especially when you have a different shift pattern each week. It would be more beneficial to have “saved bank” of specific days and specific weeks you work, and you can quickly copy them into…

Manual override notification
Please add a mobile notification when the temp is changed or turned on . As it would be very handy. I have a autistic child who keeps turning the wireless thermostat on an we don't notice till its too late Thanks

Receive smart meter data
Either access smart meter data, or contact loop to share their access. Use this data to attribute costs to room schedules.

App with admin (full) and users accounts (limited)
I would very much appreciate it when you introduce asap the possibility to setup admin (full access) and user (limited access) accounts in the tado app. In fact i was disappointed and amazed that this is not possible at the moment. You don't want all users to have access to all settings.

Range Limitation Publicity
This community shows that lots of people are having range problems in larger houses. But nowhere in the product information does it mention that all devices have to be within range of the Bridge and that thick walls will adversely affect the range. I have my Wi-Fi router at one end of the house and my boiler at the other…

History graph (also) in web app
I'd love to have the history graph of devices also in the web app. First of all because I have a larger screen and thereby better readability. Also I (ab)use the web app for another building, as multi-home support is not there.

TRV with empty batteries closes valve, but keeps requesting heat
The batteries of my TRV were empty and I received this email from Tado: > When your Smart Radiator Thermostat does not have enough charge to function, it will automatically close the radiator’s valve and the heating will remain off until you replace the batteries. Sure enough the valve was closed and an empty battery icon…

Humidity notification
Tado keeps also track of humidity percentage in the room, it would be useful to receive a notification when it reaches a certain percentage so that I can open the windows and clear some hair.

Black or Anthracite thermostat
Are there any plans to bring out a black or anthracite grey colour for the actual thermostats. I am fitting three anthracite radiators into a new kitchen and would prefer a more suitable colour than white.

New Device - Tado Immersion Hot Water Heating Controller
Many homes having a hot water storage cylinder would also have the hot water heated by an element in the cylinder either as standard or as a backup option to the gas heating system. I wanted to raise this subject here to help gauge if there is actually an interest within the community of Tado users? Do you have a hot water…

Advanced smart scheduling
Many people work shift patterns that require a different heating schedule each week. Would it be possible to have advanced scheduling to cover multiple weeks? Ie the ability to set a heat schedule for one week, and then have it repeat every x amount of days/weeks? In exactly the same kind of way you set up repeat…

Auto meter readings
The App needs to access meter readings automatically if the Intelligent IQ is to be any good Apps like Hugo already do it, the Tado app should too

Smart AC Control to turn off AC unit when desired temperature is reached
Could it be possible to add a feature to the Smart AC Control that would allow for AC unit to turn off automatically when the desired temperature is reached, and then, when the Smart AC control detects that the temperature has raised 0.5-1 degrees over, to turn on the AC unit again? At the present moment, using the Smart…

Activity log viewer
Hi have read your summary of missing / development requests. Is there any movement on these. I am frustrated that there is no way of viewing the log activity for room temperature, boiler control, manual interference, who did what and when. There are spurious times when the heating or water comes on and I don’t know why. A…

Hot Water 'Boost' Button - 30, 60, 90min options
We have been using TADO for 2 years - and its worked well, and so recently installed the Hot Water head unit. We find that there is a big need to have a quick way to turn on the Hot Water for just enough time to heat the tank for one bath/shower or to heat the tank for a couple of bath/showers and then possibly even…

Naming radiators
I have a number of rooms in which I have more than one radiator but all connected under one Tado “room”. It would be good if each individual radiator could be named eg “under the window” so that one knows which battery to replace without having to say Hi to each radiator. This is particularly important when the radiators…

Boost by 5° not up to 25°
I have my heating relatively low but if it dips a few degrees and I want to boost it I don’t want to boost to the maximum 25. 5° more than the current temp would be enough. In this age of trying to be energy efficient and a fuel crisis maxing out the temp is illogical

Flame 🔥 icon
How about adding a flame 🔥 icon to the heating zones that are currently heating? Would be clearer than it is presently

Dazzle mode from Homekit please

Artificial intelligence heating to desired temp
When I set the heating I select a room and temperature. Instead, could the app calculate how long it ‘normally’ takes to heat the room to that temp. Could the app then initiate heating, to the temp at the desired time. This is something I try to calculate but I think some development and an intelligent app could do it…

Ability to link rooms
Have the ability to link rooms together so changing the temperature on 1 room will change the rooms that are linked together. Maybe add a global change too so you can change the whole house in 1 go.

SUMMER MAINTENANCE CYCLE
Tado needs the following. A way of cycling all the valves at least once a week during summer, and running the central heating for a couple of minutes to prevent valves seizing, to prevent pumps calcifying in hard water areas, and to prevent dead spots where sludge settles and to cycle inhibitor. All that is needed is a 10…

Use Smart AC Control also as a temperature sensor for smart radiator thermostats
I have a room with both AC (controlled by a TADO Smart AC control) and a radiator (with a TADO smart radiator thermostat). The room is big and the temperature around the radiator in the winter is not what most of us using the room feel. The TADO Smart AC control is instead in a place where temperature can be sampled more…

Add an Alexa feature: "Alexa, what is the humidity in the living room/bedroom/etc"
The Tado app clearly shows that humidity is being tracked. We can see the humidity in all the rooms. So those sensors are already present in the Tado devices. Yet, I can't ask Alexa to tell me what the humidity is. I'm a programmer, and I know that this wouldn't take a great deal of programming to implement. So I'm…
