Replacement of Batteries

I've just replaced the batteries on my Tado after just over a year. I suggest that the diagram showing how to remove the unit from the base includes a reference to the need to remove a tiny slot head screw located under the unit and therefore difficult to see, and holding the Tado onto the base plate. Replacing the screw is not easy as its being done upside down! My solution was to put a bit of "Blu-tac" to hold the screw on the screwdriver which worked a treat.

Are you talking about the wall thermostat? If so, funny thing, my installation instructions showed that little screw at the bottom, and I thought I lost it, searched all over until I noticed there is no screw hole on my thermostat, it has a plastic lip and just clicks in place. I guess its a newer or older revision ?
