Hot water not turning on in line with schedule

Hi,

I've got a Tado wireless thermostat controlling about 15 smart TRVs and hot water control. Never had any issues with hot water or heating.

About 3 weeks ago I started having issues with hot water where some evenings I don't have any. The hot water doesn't appear to be turning on during the window when it's supposed to. But the majority of nights it is fine.

My schedule was to turn on the hot water for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. This was always enough, but because of the issues I was having, I increased the evening slot to 3 hours (17.00-20.00). However, this hasn't fixed it. I just tried to shower at 20.15 and there is no hot water. Tado hasn't turned the hot water on during the slot as it was supposed to. When I then manually turn it on via the app or the test button on the thermostat, it warms up in about 30 minutes.

I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to work out the cause and think it might be something to do with Geofencing. My theory is that if I am out when the hot water is supposed to turn on, it doesn't turn on at all for that part of the schedule. Today, I was out at 17.00 when it should have turned on, but was back by about 17.25 - and it didn't turn on after that when it recognised I was home. However, my partner also has the app and was home the whole time, so it's very odd.

In the hot water section of the iOS app, we have these settings:

On the 'Away' tab we had "Hot water: On" previously, although the last week or so I had flicked this off to see if it helped.

On the Home tab, we have the same schedule every day of the week (Monday-Sunday). Within the 'On' sections I have turned Geofencing control OFF.

In iPhone settings, we both have allowed tado to access our location 'Always'.

My partner for a few months did have an issue with her Geofencing where it always thought she was away - I had to delete the app from her phone and reinstall it for it to start working again. I probably did that about the same time as this issue started. Just mentioning in case that may be linked somehow.

This Geofencing thing may be a red herring so open to any suggestions to help troubleshoot this.
