Nest migration - Thermostat backplate

Took advantage of the Google offer and installed the Tado kit. I have removed the Nest thermostat however this has now left a rectangular space where the old controller & backplate used to be. Any suggestions how to mount the Tado thermostat in the same position with a new backplate. Perhaps a 3d printed option?

    If it’s any help I noticed that the mounting holes in the Tado X bridge lined up with the rebated back box from my original controller. By using the rear entry for the wiring and carefully selecting two of the mounting holes on the right I covered the back box completely with the Tado.
