Possible to lock the physical interface temperature range

Hi all,

I'm looking into the possibility to limit the temperature range that can be set on the physical thermostat to a more narrow range, specifically for the cooling mode.

In our rental property, we have an AC unit only, as the climate is very warm. We already have window sensors, so tenants cannot run the AC with windows open. Additionally, we'd like to limit the temperature range that the AC can be set to, as some tenants will run it at 15C when its 30C+ outside.

Is there any way to accomplish this with the devices firmware?
Is there alternatively a way to accomplish this using Apple HomeKit, which we are considering to use for the window sensors (Aqara)?

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to do this via the Tado app. It would be a really useful feature to have

    It may be possible for Tado support to set something for you. Have you tried contacting Tado?

    It may also be possible to do this in Homekit but I've no experience of that so can't comment.

    Hopefully bumping this back to the first page might get it seen by someone who can help
