Integrating wireless thermostats with an underfloor heating system

Good morning, In my home, I currently have an underfloor heating system controlled by an LG Therma-V heat pump, with two wired thermostats—one per floor—connected via dry contacts directly to the heat pump.

I would like to implement a more advanced control solution using the Tado ecosystem to manage the heating in individual rooms more precisely, but I wish to avoid structural work for installing wired thermostats.

Are there any technical solutions that would allow me to use a single wired thermostat as the master while integrating additional wireless thermostats in various rooms, which can directly control the actuator heads for their respective zones?

Thank you for your attention.

@stepp1993 Hello. This is the user community. Sorry that none of the users have answered your plea for help.

First, best to contact Tado support from the chat function on the main wbe site. The bot will ask lots of questions abot your heating system before you get to a real human. Best to have available all the information about your present system.

Second, for users to help, please can you explain more about the heating and controls that you have in place. The ASHP, controls, wired stats, actiuators, rads, TRVs etc. Do you have rads on the same circuit as the UFH? Does the ASHP heat the hot water too? How is this timed/controlled? A logic diagram of the heating and photos will help (easiest posted from a web browser).

Also, what you are attempting to achieve? E.g. better room/temperature scheduling? reduced bills? remote control? somethiing else?

In principle … if this is simply replacing two wired room thermostats that provide relay contact to the ASHP with Tado wired thermostats … the Tado wired stats will act as a 'zone controller' that individual Tado TRVs on the rads will talk to and 'call for heat'.

@policywonk any suggestions from your expertise, please?

Hope this helps as a starter.
