Hi,

Does the Wired Smart Thermostat X require mains power?

Wired Smart Thermostat X – tado° Shop

Our current thermostat is battery powered, and signals for heat via (2core) low-voltage signal. So we don't have mains power at the location.

Can I confirm if the Wired Tado Thermostat X does NOT require mains voltage to operate i.e. it this battery only and low-voltage signal for calling heat like our current thermostat?

    @hyeung Hello Hung. The Tado X wired thermostat is battery powered. To check compatibility with your present heating system, best to check with Tado support from the chat function from the main Tado web site.
