Anyone else failing to connect their thermostat?

My wireless receiver is connected as is the tado Bridge X that I also bought. But I cannot get the wireless thermostat to connect - I’ve tried everything suggested in the Help topics and tado customer service haven’t been able to solve it. So just wondering if anyone else had major problems and how they finally resolved it. Now on day 5 of trying to connect.
I migrated to tado on the recommendation of Google, support to my 2 nd generation Nest was about to cease. Wish I hadn’t!

    What is your heating system, Combi, S-Plan, Y-Plan and how did your Gen 2 connect through the Heat Link etc, have you purchased the right starter kit ?

    I had the same problem. I sorted it out by factory resetting everything, made sure that my router was only on 2.4Ghz, and because I was using a mesh system for my normal wifi, I only had one of the nodes on, the one nearest the thread border router. It connected first time.

    I'm now trying to add another smart radiator valve, but at the moment no joy.

    Got new Mesh Router and Full Fibre Line, producing 900mbps. Spent hours trying to work out why no interconnection with any Smart Thermostats. Eventually found info stating that anything over 10/100Mbps does not work. Oh dear - any suggestions what I should buy to get it solved? Thanks

    My thermostat X is wired. Nothing works. Done all that tado suggest, and more. Continuously offline for two days. Working fine prrviously.
    Cannot set router to 2.4 band only.
    Factory reset doesn't seem to work - I get the Hi! message, but no flashing symbol.
    Frustrated.
