New house owner already has V3+ owner
Hi,
Just moved house and we were trying to work are heating and then found the tado V3+ already set up from previous owner
I’ve set up the app and the receiver is already connected to the boiler
Issue is the internet bridge we can’t connect as don’t get WiFi installed till next week, can anyone help with how to get our heating on and off without the bridge being connected? I’ve tried tapping the arrows on the temp sensor and it’s doing nothing

@ANorcup Hello and welcome.
- The Tado Internet Dongle connects to the broadband from an ethernet port on the router and provides the Tado radio links. V3+ doesn't use the home wifi.
- Provided that the Internet Dongle has USB power (and the devices connect) you should be able to turn ON and OFF from e.g. a wireless temperature sensor or TRV.
- To manually control the heating and hot water from the V3+ wireless receiver, this document should help:
- If you have typical S-Plan heating system with zone valves, these can be forced ON by moving the manual lever on the head of the zone valve to the right, lift and it should lock into place. E.g. Youtube:
- Do you have the email login for the present setup? If not, you'll probably need to reach out to Tado support (from the main web pages) for their help.
