Thermostat v3+kit

Just bought a new tado v3+kit, the thermostat does not light up( no icon nothing). change batteries but still nothing. I email tado and waiting for a reply.
Anybody had the same and did you sort it out

    @jowett69 You mention icon? What and when are you expecting the smart thermostat to light up please? If you press the button the temperature adjuster will light up but nothing else.

    press the button 3+ seconds nothing lights up..does not pair ....nothing

    @jowett69 You say you have changed batteries and if they are right way round (!!) then I can only think you have a faulty item. Sorry not more helpful.

    @jowett69, looking at the photo, I can see what looks like the end of a thin plastic tab, it is at the top just to the right of centre. Sorry to state the obvious but have you removed the plastic tab that sticks out of the battery compartment when you unpack the thermostat?

    lol cheers mate but that was removed, what u see is the serial and authorisation code sticker i stuck at the back of the unit
