High pitch whine?

Hi!

I've recently just set up my Wired thermostat + extension kit replacing the boiler controller. It's mostly working fine (had a few connection issues with the extension kit which were resolved after restarting internet bridge and the extension) but the extension kit has always had this high pitch whine coming from it, is this normal?

    That’s not normal. My extension kit is totally silent, except when the relays click on/off.

    Tado have stop manufacturing the extension kit, so try and get out swapped under warranty ASAP before they try sending you a receiver.
