How do the Radiator thermostats work efficiently

Just wondering how much effect the heat from the pipes effects the radiator thermostat. Is there a danger that the valve shuts down early due to the thermostat reading the heat from the pipes rather than the heat in the middle of the room.

    Hello,

This is taken into account with the design of the product.

However, if heat tends to build up (because the thermostat is behind a curtain or below an object), you might want to make another thermostat the temperature measurement leader for that room. Or you could configure a temperature correction (of minus x degrees) in the settings, so that tado° thinks it's cooler than it actually is.

  • Great thanks. Will configuring the correction affect it coming on earlier than it should though. ( have I got that the right way round 😂)
