Why doesn't my heating come on when I turn thermostat up

Hi,
We have a new tado and it seems to be working but when I turn the thermostat up the heating does come on. What are we doing wrong?

    Can you provide a little bit more information......are you turning up the temperature on the device or in the App.
    Do your devices work OK via programmed changes in the schedule ?? 🤔
    Hopefully someone will be able to help you out once you update your post.
