Revert timer defaults back to the previous functionality

When manually turning on the hot water in the app, instead of defaulting to the same duration as the last request (e.g. 30 mins), it now defaults to staying turned on until the next scheduled change (which is often hours away). If this is not noticed by the user it can lead to the hot water being heated for hours by mistake, instead of a short boost. As the time required for a hot water boost is generally consistent, simply using the same setting as last time was a useful feature.

I checked this with support and was told that this functionality had been deliberately changed. Please revert this back as it can easily lead to wasted fuel.

  • Are you saying that tado° have unilaterally decided that this function is no longer required by their customers.....??🤔
If that is the case then that seems to be a very disappointing scenario.

I’ve just tried changing the hot water on my iPhone app and it still works as before.
  • Is it possible that it was a user "finger problem" ?? 🤔
