Thermostat repeatedly looses power and cannot pair

After a battery change the thermostat cannot start up. The display only blinks hi every 10 seconds or so. It did not help to reinstall the device. I have tried with two pairs of new batteries.

    Hi Thomas,

    Please check that the battery terminals and the contacts in the thermostat are clean, and that you are using the correct batteries (not rechargeable ones, as these often do not hold enough voltage).
