    How long do you want your batteries to last?

    I expect you'd be changing them every few weeks if the display was always on

    You "expect" that 'always on' would consume too much battery energy but... Perhaps this an assumption? I have a ThermPro hygrometer base station with a large display and less battery power - and it lasts several months

    I upvoted this from 2* to 3. *This was curious as far more than 2 people had posted asking for this. EVEN MORE CURIOUSLY, when I looked back the vote count was at 1. Very dodgy
