Smart TRV on this radiator valve?

Hi All

Can I fit a Tado TRV to this type of valve or would I need to change the valve type?

Any help is as always greatly appreciated!

    Hi Chris,

    I may be mistaken but it seems to me this is a valve that is closed by rotating the head. If so, the answer is no.

    Thermostatic TRVs work with pin valves, where the head pushes a pin to open/close the valve. Like this one:

    Yeah that was my guess and is the case with all the other valves in the house.
