To improve the 'Green' credentials you can modify the app software to display the actual battery voltage.
This will enable use of rechargeable batteries (usually with a fully charged voltage of about 1.2V-1.3V, which work fine anyway.
Ideally you would ask what kind of batteries the customer was using so you could modify the 'battery low' message appropriately. However the battery voltage would be useable.
I would like to be able to use my window/door sensors to activate ‘open window detected’. This would be a great improvement as it will speed up this process and will keep ‘open window detected’ on until I close window/door.
I know this can be done indirectly by setting the heater to “off” with ifttt but this means that it will not be registered as an open window in the statistics and air quality stats.
A lot of the time, when the temperature has just gone below the set temperature, it comes up saying "Heating to [temp]" even though no heat has been requested "yet". Also reflects this on the graph. Any chance this could be changed for the UI and graph to only show when heat is requested? I'm not sure if this is an issue because Tado has to support multiple types of heating systems.
The old version of the App used to display a three bar symbol when the room was actively heating and it showed the degree of demand according to one bar low demand to three bars high demand.
That way you can see at a glance which room is actively heating.
Now you have to go to the chart to see if it is active or not.
We have family members who visit our house when we're away sometimes. We've added them (their phones) as Tado users so that the geofencing detects when they're here.
Some of them have a temptation to change the settings which I don't then notice for a while.
Is there a way to limit other users' ability to change the settings (i.e. Limit their access/privileges) whilst keeping their phones working for the geofencing?
I guess this might be useful for parents/children and landlords/tenants too.

Damit könnte man z. B. in allen Zeitblöcken gleichzeitig die Away Temperatur anpassen, ohne jeden Block einzeln anfassen zu müssen.
Diese Funktion könnte man mit einem Urlaubsmodus kombinieren, wie an anderer Stelle beschrieben/vorgeschlagen.
My heating system is the hot water storage type where a larger tank is used to store hot water for heating the radiators and hot water supplied via a heat exchanger. The tank is heated by a solar panel on the roof and a wood burning stove. Backup heating is via a gas boiler, which is controlled by Tado. It would be good if the temperature of my hot water tank could be monitored via the extension box and the temperature could be used to control the boiler, rather than the simple hot water on/off.
