Heating not coming up with Nefit proline hrc 24 cw4

Hi All,

I'm trying to configure the Tado Smart Thermostat connected to Nefit proline hrc 24 cw4 .

Have connected the Blue wire to -ve and Red wire to +ve, have chosen D31 during the configuration, the radiator is not heating up. I tried changing the Menu Id to D24, still not luck, pretty cold at home and i'm with my kid.

Please guide me how to proceed.

    I contacted Tado via the 'live' chat on their website with a similar issue and got helped within an hour with the solution!

    Thanks Marli, the issue got fixed after changing the connection to smart thermostat from +ve and -ve to NO and COM. Had issues with this thread as it wasn't accepting comments/reply. It's working now.

    Although this on/off config now works, it is not the most (energy)efficient way to drive your boiler. I would suggest you try to get the modulating config to work (use +/- contacts, polarity does not matter), use also the right contacts at your boiler (!!) and configure the right setting on the thermostat (you mentioned D31, I don't know that. But use the wizard and you'll be fine)
