Can Tado control floor heating if the knob is in a different room?

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of buying a Tado for our home and I need some help.

I have a boiler and several radiators for which I would buy Tado knobs. But I also have floor heating in our bathroom, which is controlled remotely through a knob located in the boiler room (different than the bathroom). Is there a way I can have this floor heating controlled by the Tado system as well?

    Yes you can. You need a wireless temperature sensor in the bathroom and you can have either have a wired thermostat driving an electric valve or a tado knop physically located near the boiler, but logically in the bathroom.

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "logically in the bathroom", since the current manual knob/valve is located in the boiler room (far from the bathroom)?

    logically = in de app maak je een ruimte badkamer aan, de temp sensor is dan meettoestel voor die ruimte en de knop of bedrade thermostaat als 2e apparaat in dezelfde ruimte.
