Not sure how to put pictures on here0

What's the make and model? To post pics one needs to be on a laptop or desktop. Mobile phone browsers seem to be crippled when they engage this forum and can't upload pics. Laptop browsers- no problem.0

https://media.wickes.co.uk/is/content/wickes/GPID_5000150461_TECH_0. - had the installation instructions.
Page 33 gives the wiring for you to trace on the main pcb. Hope this reduces confusion, although am not sure. This boiler uses Opentherm and can be digitally controlled.
That diagram says that you have two chocolate strips. One has 4 pairs of screws, one has 7 pairs. Can you distinguish them? The one with four pairs is the one you need to focus on.
Now look for these colours on the chocolate strip. It's a specific sequence:
* black
* violet
* black
* grey.
The pair which are black and violet, right next to each other, should only be used for Opentherm, ie digital controls.
Do you know how to wire the Tado thermostat to the two Opentherm pins on the chocolate strip? Have tado given you instructions?
Now, do you have enough, or need more help?1 -
That's very helpful and yes I do have 2 chocolate strips in mine, the only instructions I got were the professional ones which make no sense to me! Is it easy to wire it in? I don't get what the different types are as in potential free and switched live... sorry to be a pain.0
