SRT powers off when mounted

Hi all,

I’ve fitted my tado system this morning and all seemed to be going well, but one of the rad values is playing up.

It pairs no issue, but as soon as I go to mount it, the body appears to power off. It’s like pressure on the battery compartment turns it off. No response from the dial etc.

I've tried swapping batteries but they all seem fine.

I can’t see anything elsewhere on forums so I’m guessing it’s not a well-known issue.

Has anyone seen it before or had any ideas before I try and get support to replace it?
