NC or NO

Options
I recently was trying to replace my danfoss basicplus2 wt-p with Tado smart floor heating. When I removed my old thermostat, there were three wires, 1 connected to NC, 1 connected to COM and one connected to N. So, my question is, should I do the same thing on Tado device? Should I connect the wire to NC or NO. Tado installation guide says NO. A little confused here.

If you are sure that your that previous thermostat used NC then use the same with Tado.

The actuators used for underfloor heating can be type NC or NO. You match the thermostat wiring to the type used, and Tado presumably don’t know what you have.
