Hi All,

Can anyone help me set up my tado please as we’ve just moved and brought it with us.

I assumed feeding the blue and brown wires from either one of the current controllers into the L and N of my extender was correct. This seems to be true as it powers on the extender.

I then planned to take the grey wire from the black face plate(currently a Drayton LP711) and placing it into slot 3 HW ON.

Finally the brown wire from the white backplate slot 3(currently Hive single channel receiver for heating) into the extended slot 4 CH ON.

I would then put the relay into position 2. However this doesn’t seem to work regardless of what I do the boiler is unresponsive. Am I missing something obvious here?

    Hi,

    The current setup is a bit to complicated to know how it is working.

    I guess a more simple question is are you planning on completely removing the Hive and the Drayton and if you are it may be easier to start by seeing the boiler end of things.

    What is the Honeywell box controlling?
