No Heating or Hot water this morning

I have the V3+ system controlling my heating and hot water . This morning the hot water and heating did not fire up and when checking the controller it was showing the power light ,internet light and the error light. to get rid of the error light I switch the power to the controller off and on which fixed the problem. I did see the error light on yesterday also but it went off by itself .

    Possible issues:

    • problems with your ISP
    • problem with your equipment (router)
    • unable to assassin IP address to tado° bridge (only if DHCP is in use)

    I've got into the habit of rebooting the internet bridge and extension kit approx. once a week. Helps prevent all hell breaking loose in the house with no hot water or heating :)


    Out of 40+ devices on my network Tado are the only ones that seem to require a frequent reboot to stay stable(ish).

    Thanks paul0000, I don't think the problem was the internet bridge ,I still had a stable connection to the rooter . It would seem to be the connection from the controller to the thermostat . It has all been working fine before this problem and since ,fingers crossed.
