Installing thermostat wiring confusion!

the wires to my existing thermostat have a diagrams for the cables. 3 wires are : COM, Demand & N.

COM obviously gets wired to COM but what about Demand & N?

Is Demand NO?

    Yes, demand would go to NO or NC. You will need to know if your original thermostat was an NO (Normally Open) or NC (normally closed) type.

    N needs to be safely isolated as it doesn't connect to anything
