I am looking for a little help/guidance on how to wire up my boiler with the Tado as I am a little confused on how this works. I have an Alpha CB24X combi boiler, programmable controller and wired thermostat. I have found the wiring terminal and taken a photo attached but the wiring is confusing me, looking at the wiring guide in the boiler manual and I cannot make sense of them.

Any ideas? I have attached a picture of my boiler as it stands just now and the wiring diagram from my manual.

From the manual it looks like since I have an external controller there should be wires into terminals 1 & 2 but I only have into terminal 1?

The tado instructions are telling me to put the tado into terminals N, 1(grey) 2(brown) - can I take out and cap the black wires and add the Tado per the instructions?
