Extension kit- Initially only wiring CH control OK?

Options
Hallo all,
I have a very simple timed on/off programmer which makes the call for heat.
There is a separate physical switch for a 2 port valve which simply only determines whether the produced hot water goes to either the hot water cylinder alone (HW) or to both the radiators and the cylinder (winter). I.e. this switch is not involved in the call for heat in any way. The gas boiler is a 2015 Logic System 18ie.

At some point I plan to change this setup to a real S system.

But, as a first step is it ok to wire only the CH part of the tado extension kit and add the HW wiring later on.
I.e. Will the kit just work or will it or the app report HW wiring missing and refuse to run just the CH part as a result.

Insights welcome

From your description you are wiring to the switching outputs on the Extension kit.

I assume internally within the Extension kit these are relay contacts and, as such, the Tado system wouldn't receive any 'feedback' that the downstream wiring is missing even if the relay switches on / off.
