Pin Extenders - 20mm tip to thread

Hi, I'm trying to install a Smart Thermostatic Valve but I keep getting error E4.

My TRV is a Siemens M28x1.5, I'm using the right adapter, however, the distance between the tip of the pin and the beginning of the valve thread is 20mm so I guess I need a different pin extender that is not included in the box, right? or am I doing something wrong?

Has anyone had the same issue?

    included extenders cover between 1mm and 12mm

    I have same issue, did you ever manage to find a solution?

    I used the 18.5mm one, it did take me few tries to get it to work properly.
