Valve and Thermostat in same room - hide one in Apple Home?

I have a smart radio thermostat and a wireless thermostat in my living room. The latter device is set to be the Measuring Device.

Is it possible to get only one device to appear in Apple Home?

There’s no utility that I can see in having both appear, so it just clutters the interface and confuses some of the other users in my house.

    You can set which appears in favourites, I think there’s no way of hiding them in rooms though.
