Trying to connect my extender to my new Vaillant 425 Eco Fit Pure open vent boiler

It is an existing extender which controlled the water and heat, the old boiler was a Potterton. the extender went straight to the boiler so no programmer and wired/wireless thermostats also in the mix along with Rad valves. all worked fine until the boiler change.

The system no longer works, I have tried to reconfigure in the app and it says I need a dual programmer to work. the extender receives signals and I hear the click to actuate but nothing happens on the boiler.

can anyone advise if this does work or not, if not I will need to buy Vaillant and get rid of all my Tado equipment which I would prefer not to do.

Support just said leave the wiring the same but it does not work in this fashion and i cannot reconfigure for the Vaillant Boiler so in a jam here (with no hot water)

Any advice would be good?

    Is it a combi or system boiler (with cylinder)? What is the ‘existing extender’ - extension kit or wireless receiver?

    Can you post photos of your wiring?
