Hi if we have the uk receiver box installed are we able to directly replace this with the extension kit which supports opentherm?
The extension kit is basically just the older receiver so is all wiring the same?
The installers get confused o et opentherm so I thought just get the uk kit installed with replay then replace the box myself afterwards.
Assuming the extension kit works with the wireless thermostat exa y the same as the uk box?

Yes and no. I believe the back plate is the same but the Opentherm connections are on different terminals so you will need wiring to be done to support that type of connection

If you’re reasonably confident it’s fairly easy to replace. All you need on the extension kit with Opentherm is wires to L and N and then the two digital connections far right.0
