:s I just got tado. I followed instructions. I think. But. I only used the wireless thermostat and not the second box. My old system had wireless control so … is this all I need? Not fully functioning yet and I’m now confused

    Do you have a combi boiler or a system boiler with hot water tank? Did Tado support give you customised instructions?

    I have a combi. Just the app setup instructions. Which said nowt about the box that is not the thermostat- I assumed that the tado thermostat would just take over from existing but it seems not

    So. I’m an idiot , turns out. Like a fool I missed the whole “bit you wire to your boiler” stage! Thanks people. I’m off to hang my head in shame!
