smart schedule being overridden

hey all

just a quick question, does anyone know why the smart schedule doesn't work or change when the thermostat is controlled manually. it used to change at the next time block automatically. yes i know everything can be controlled from the app but my wife does not use the app, she always turns it by hand hence the problem

    Options
    Click on rooms and devices, then the room, then until next automatic change under manual control. If that doesn’t work then change one of the room temps on the app, click the pencil and drag the slider at the bottom to ‘until next time block’
