Compatibility - Vaillant Ecotec PRO286 24-25

Hi,

I have a smart thermostat V1 and would like to check the compatibility in modulating mode with a Vaillant Ecotec PRO286 24-25 I am looking forward to install.

    I’ve had a look around and I can’t find any information on v1 thermostats at all. Assuming they’re the same as v3 thermostats there should be a digital connection but I don’t know if that’s the case.

    I have dug a bit in thé forum and it seems it may in fact be a firmware issue. The one I have is stuck to 54.20.
    I think I will need to upgrade to a v3+.
    Tado tech support seems to suggest to put up a wireless controller on the boiler, but it would be too far away from the internet bridge.
