Why do I have to reboot my thermostat almost every day ?

Hi,

Since a few weeks, I have to reboot almost every day my thermostat to make it work. When I press the button, it display the temperature but doesn't move to the part when I can change the desired temp. And the App show the installation as being offline.

Pressed the button ~10 seconds, it reboots, reconnect and everything is working again. Until next time (which sometimes happens the very same day).

Any idea what's going on and to solve it ?

I haven't rellay change a thing network wise (Wi-Fi and so on).

    How far is it from the bridge? Approx distance, how many walls, type of wall construction

    What's the software version on the bridge and thermostat

    It may be struggling with a low signal strength although not sure why it would reconnect on a reboot.

    Have you asked Tado support?

    Thank you for your reply. Here's the details :

    Version on the thermostat : 97.1

    Version on the bridge : 92.1

    They're both in the same room, direct line of sight (so to speak), no wall between them.

    Very strange. It ran smoothly for many months, every years I'd say.

    I've not yet asked Tado Support about this.
