iOS app keeps asking if I want away or at home

Hi new user with geofencing on but every time I leave home or arrive the app asks if I want away or at home to turn on, is this how it works I thought it would be automatic?

    Ignore I was on my iPad and found the answer when I went on my phone to check the settings, just in case anyone else looks for this it only works through auto assist which is part of the paid app

    Be aware that it operates based on the location of all the devices that you have registered for auto assist......

    Lucky you. In my first three Tado weeks I've only ever been notified once and that was two hours after leaving home.

    I have however been notified that my wife is away when I'm sitting at home watching footy on TV. What's the point in that ?

    I could live with a text notification in case I've forgotten to turn off, but only if it's both timely and consistent.

    Maybe because I am a new user and atm have only set myself up on the app that I’m luckily having no problems
