HI all ive got 5 radiators which are vaillant setup - the adaptors that then make this native with the TRVs are about 15 quid each - i note that VAILLANT Valve Adaptor Pack | Netatmo make plastic ones for a pound a pop - does anyone know if these would be compatible with the TADO TRVs as the thread appears similar but obvioulsy i dont know the internal diameter of the TRVs connector threads on each model.

    The internal thread size on the Tado TRVs is M30 x 1.5mm, whereas the Netatmo TRV is M35 x 1.5mm. So not compatible.

    Netatmo have taken a different approach to adapters as their TRV thread is oversized and I believe always needs an adapter. Whereas the Tado thread size is fairly common and can be used on many valves without an adapter.

    aww shame the vaillant ones cost a fortune


    unless.... can I attach a TADO adaptor to a Netatmo one????
