    It's not a great audience for this here, as they are mostly not that kind of geek.

    You could get an ESP8266 or the ESP32 for a few quid. But you seem to then need an interface board to speak to the EMS bus. Then you'd need a server to run HAAS or whatever to make use of the thing.

    If you already had the HASS running on a Pi at home, you could do the rest for 30-50£/$/Euro.

    Most people that use it probably just piggyback their current control system, from what I've seen.
