TRV Hunting

Hi - I'm new to the community and did look for an answer but am happy to be directed to a previous post if this has been covered. Most of my radiators work well with the tado controllers but one in particular hunts (taps loudly) as it is approcahing the set point and can do this for quite sometime. Any suggestions for stopping this? I've tried refitting the manual TRV and winding it in and out and have also checked the pin in the valve moves freely which it does but can't stopping this tapping.

    Have you tried a different Tado trv on there? If it doesn’t happen then, sounds like it might be a faulty unit.

    Thanks for the suggestion I hadn't thought of that as was focusing on the TRV not the Tado. I have now swapped two over and both of them appear to be working ok.
