Decommission an ESI ESRTERFW

Does anyone have any guidance on how to decommission an ESI ESRTERFW room thermostat, please?

wondering if I can use the termination clips that came in the Tado box. I have left it on the wall all connected up but I am wondering if it is causing interference with the Tado system.

    The receiver part is usually by the boiler and I’d remove it. You can just disconnect if you prefer.

    I have removed that and replaced it with the Tado receiver ... its the room thermostat that I am wondering about.

    Most of the ESI ones I've seen are battery. If it's mains, just Wago them off.
