Can I trigger the update process for my Tado Thermostat and TRVs manually?

I can't find this option in Tado's app?

    It's not an option with Tado.

    There is an option in the Tado app within iOS to do this for each device. Whether it still works, unsure, but it’s there, and did used to work. Go to Settings > HomeKit > The device > update firmware

    Upon pressing the update button it does acknowledge the update and says it might take a bit of time.

    I don’t think that works any more. It seems like the Tado device checks with the server and updates automatically (or not).

    I have no way of testing as all up to date. But it does appear to do something when pressed as it spins an new icon for a second then it says Tado will check for updates and if any are available it will install shortly.

    Yes, it says that, but I don’t think it actually does anything.
