Hi all looking to buy this year a portable AC unit to use with Tado’s AC device. Any recommendation on a good affordable unit £300 to £400? Just interested in peoples experiences. I need it for a medium size bedroom!

    I don’t think you’ll find anything compatible for that price. They tend to have a basic remote with no display.

    Oh I have seen a few that do! But obviously from results here people don’t use it lol

    I don't think it's that kind of forum. People post here when their Tado stuff isn't working or they have install queries (mostly). No real community to speak of.

    I get the feeling there's not a lot of AC control Tado users in the UK (which is where most people on here are based).

    My AC is Panasonic and I have no plans to use anything Tado to control it.
