Why has my TRV suddenly gone wildly out?

My TRV is reading the bathroom randomly high - its usually offset by 1.2 deg but from yesterday i am having to offset it further and further for accuracy - now offset by 6 degrees - batteries changed, reset, deleted, reintroduced to the network etc.... but still wildly off - is there a hard reset where my tado doesnt instantly recognise it so i can start again?

    The temperature sensor is in the device. I don’t think some kind of scorched earth reset would achieve anything.

    Try swapping it for a different trv. If the problem moves with the trv then it’s faulty, if it stays in the bathroom then it’s a different issue.
