Wireless Receiver/ Boiler Compatibility

Options

Hi. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. Tado tech team are very slow getting back. I installed my wireless receiver in place of an APT IMM24 programmer. All wiring is correct as per instructions on Tado website. The boiler turns on when I turn power back on after installing but will not turn off via the app.

I then figured I'd wire directly to the boiler instead of the programmer, however the Tado website says my boiler isn't compatible with the system.

Has anyone ever come across this and/or a way around it? Pictures attached of wireless receiver wiring and previous programmer wiring. I also have photos of the boiler wiring if this helps.

The IMM24 switch is a high current device normally used to control immersion heaters. Tado is only rated at 3 Amps so it's not suitable for immersion heaters. It's this discrepancy in current rating that might have triggered the incompatibility message.
